If you live in a cold climate, you can’t wait for signs of spring. I'm sure that the sound of birds is music to your ears. Even if you get a late snowfall, it usually doesn’t stay around too long because the ground is warming up.
As much as we anticipate spring, we don’t look forward to the seasonal allergies that often come with it.
Here are some tips to avoid suffering from allergies this season.
1. Reduce how much you’re eating. During the winter, you eat heavier, dense foods (soups, stews, and lots of starchy vegetables) to prepare the body for the cold winter months ahead. In the spring, however, you don’t need those reserves.
If given a chance, your appetite should naturally decrease because in the spring you don’t need as much food as you did in the winter. Eat smaller portions especially at breakfast and dinner, and make lunch the largest meal of the day.
