How to Boost Your Metabolism Naturally, Have More Energy, and Lose Weight

September 23, 2017

We usually think of metabolism as the ability to burn energy. True, but it’s so much more than that. It allows the body to function properly when we’re doing everyday activities from breathing and thinking to moving around and digesting our food.

If your metabolism is low, you run the risk of a whole host of problems including: digestive issues, constipation, weight gain, skin problems, colds & flu, headaches, and more.

Men tend to have a higher metabolism than women, and it typically declines after the age of 40. So, is there anything we can do about it?  Absolutely! It’s called “diet and lifestyle”.

Many health experts believe the best way to improve your metabolism starts in the stomach. Here is a list of foods you should have in your diet and foods you want to avoid.
